The predecessor to Kaelus began operations in 2007 in Sweden with a focus on the telecom industry. Through a combination of organic growth and strategic acquisitions, including of Kaelus in 2019, the business has significantly broadened its capabilities and customer base. Kaelus operates across four business lines.
- Antennas: Designs and produces base station and small cell antennas and develops class-leading transparent antenna technology.

Toronto, Ontario, Canada May 29th 2026. Galtronics, a Baylin Technologies Inc. subsidiary, today announced the completion of its acquisition of Sweden’s Kaelus AB. The combination of the Galtronics and Kaelus businesses creates one of the industry’s most comprehensive end-to-end RF solution portfolios.
Kaelus brings new capabilities in Base Station Antennas including beam through technology, RF Conditioning equipment, GNSS Synchronization including anti-jamming technology, and world class Test and Measurement equipment.

Customers – Day of Close:
- What Happened? Kaelus is now part of Galtronics, a Canadian company with operations across North America, Europe, and Asia.
- What Does This Mean? This is a great thing. Galtronics and Kaelus are very complementary to one another. We plan to invest, grow, and expand our capabilities within the combined company.
- One partner for the entire RF Path – less supplier complexity, simplified procurement, fewer integration challenges, faster project deployment.
- Engineering – Accelerated innovation. Broadly, the combined company has more engineering capabilities and will only continue to invest in engineering new products. Moreover, we will enhance engineering capabilities by leveraging and investing in the strengths of both businesses.
- Sales & Support – there will be more people engaged, although there will not be any changes in who you work with today—strong global support and service. In North America and Europe, Kaelus and Galtronics will collaborate in supporting our customers’ needs. We plan on enabling both teams to service and support the combined product offerings in their respective markets.
- Brand - Both Galtronics and Kaelus are strong brands for their respective markets. We intend to keep both brands for specific markets/products. Kaelus will become, “Kaelus, a Galtronics company.”
- Contracts – Both Galtronics and Kaelus will continue to support customers through the existing contracts. Where both companies overlap with an existing customer, we will work with the procurement/supply chain teams from our customers to integrate the contracts over time.
- Production – Both Galtronics and Kaelus have strong capabilities in production and fulfillment of customer orders. Over time, we will work to enhance and strengthen the manufacture of products to continue to enhance our quality and on-time delivery capabilities.
- Will Kaelus be independent? Kaelus AB will remain and the current management team will remain in place, with P/L responsibility.
