Job Description
This position will support Galtronics Antenna Design team to integrate antenna solutions into customer devices.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Antenna integration process includes antenna selection, antenna placement, and OTA test; antenna tuning and matching for embedded solution in customer devices
- Hands-on experience performing tuning, S-parameter measurements, and antenna patterns in anechoic chamber
- TRP, TIS, and EIRP testing
- Writing reports in tabular and graphical formats
- Demonstrated ability to deliver on-time
- Self-motivation and reliability are a must
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Required Qualifications
- BS in Electrical Engineering
o Recent college graduates must have 3.5 GPA or better - Excellent organizational skills with a focus on details
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Some knowledge of 802.11
- Knowledge of antennas, transmission line theory, matching circuits, active and passive RF circuit design
- Lab skills such as LPKF, and soldering small components a plus
- Matlab software skills a plus
- 2D or 3D drafting/CAD experience a plus
- 3D printing experience a plus
- HFSS or CST experience a plus
- Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
