We are looking for an engineer (or similar) who wants to transition to a more business-centric role in our exciting organization, by focussing on all aspects of our telecom infrastructure antenna products. The right candidate is a detail-oriented, dynamic person who possesses a technical background but wants to foster their business acumen by connecting product to sales & customers. This role will work with all aspects of the organization and the candidate will require excellent communication skills and ability to work with others.


  • Become the “go-to” resource on all aspects of Galtronics’ antenna product line: applications of different antennas, pricing, EOL status, technical specifications, etc.
  • Contribute to the creation of business cases for new product development for upper management review, including assessment of:
    • target prices, volumes, technical specifications, estimated costs and required delivery schedules
  • Work with Sales team and customers to create technical requirements for engineering development
  • Provide input into the development of Product marketing collateral: customer presentations, technical trade-off studies, datasheet availability
  • Work with management to track and report gross margin vs sales trends
  • Input and validation of all product information in corporate CRM tool (Salesforce, etc.)
  • Provide input to website content for Infrastructure business unit, ensuring new datasheets are posted, old datasheets removed due to EOL, etc.
  • Contribute to the creation competitive analyses, both for internal assessment and external marketing purposes
  • In collaboration with the CTO, ensure that the product roadmap is regularly updated
  • Support Canadian sales with new and existing customers, including working closely with Sales partners (reps and/or distributors)
  • Travel within North America, to meet with customer or support sales meetings, may be required (up to 10%)



  • A Bachelor of Science or Engineering (Electrical preferred) with 3 or more years of experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to present technical material to a broad audience
  • Ability to work with a diverse group – from Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing and upper management to customers and suppliers
  • Experience in RF (or electromagnetic) propagation would be an asset
  • Experience in RF or microwave antenna design would be a very strong asset
  • Knowledge in wireless networks for mobility would be an asset
  • Exposure to project management and program management environment
  • Ability to self-manage own’s time and work schedule
